Activities Include
The Pumpkin Patch is over ten acres of all sizes of pumpkins, lots of different squash, gourds both large and small, indian corn and pod corn. The hayrack runs all day to the patch every Saturday and Sunday in October.
The indoor infamous Straw Jump is huge. It is an absolute favorite for all ages. We suggest jumpers to remove glasses and valuables from their pockets such as wallets, telephones, keys, etc., while jumping. There have been a few lost items through the years.
The Granary is a great place for the little ones. It is a simple building with shelled corn for playing in with hands and digging toys.
The Straw Train is made of large and small bales to resemble a train. It provides lots of opportunities to run and jump and just generally have a great time. It is one of the first things kids run to and is always a busy place for all ages to hang out.
The Sack Races are a chance to try an old time game. Just look for the sacks hanging on the line and put together your own races. You can do it as a simple sack race or to make it more difficult try three-legged races.
The Tug-A-Pumpkin is another "put together your own team" activity. The bigger the teams, the more exciting it can be. Boys against girls, kids versus adults, one group challenging another. Just good old-fashioned fun.
Our Farm Animals are here for you to enjoy. You never know from year to year exactly what we will have. We always have our miniature horse, goats, ducks, chickens and pigs. Sometimes we have sheep and/or calves. This is not a petting zoo and we ask that you do not chase the ducks. Please do not feed the animals without first asking permission. Some animals become sick when they eat to much.
We have Campfires available with a reservation. We set up and light the campfires and provide extra wood, seating, soft lighting and tables, hardware for roasting whatever food you choose to bring such as hot dogs or marshmallows.
Hayrack Rides run to the patch on weekends in October. If picking your own is not your desire, we have pre-picked available for easy purchase. Corn shocks and two sizes of straw bales are available for purchase as well.
